Welcome to the MAMA Awards!

The Modesto Area Music community is amazing. Many genres, so much talent and amazing experiences greet the local music fan. We are fortunate to have so many musicians that work so hard to hone their craft, with engaging songs, fun performances and sheer creativity. From our local youth bands, our indie- bands to our metal and jazz bands, there is really something for everyone.

music community got hammered during the pandemic. Our venues closed, the restaurants were shut down and the musicians went online to keep their skills sharp. Now, the MAMA Association and the music community is trying to rebuild and we will continue to celebrate our talent.

Please take time to vote for your favorites. Celebrate those who have been working hard and the places that make music a priority. There is a reason that Modesto was voted the #1 Hidden Gem city for music, but we knew that all along. Now we work together to make it better, and let’s promote each other and do what we can to get people to experience LIVE music in our community.
